Quad drive vehicles can be used for areas that are narrow and requires the AGV's to handle tight turns and sideways movements. Click here to see a movie clip of a Quad type AGV running. Transport handling by AGV's is much safer than that of manual transport handling. The AGV is protected at all times with a SICK laser sensor, so that it will not run into people or anything else for that matter. See this short movie clip on how the SICK safety feature works. |
